Maarten van der Kamp is the only street-photographer out there who doesn’t want you to know he’s using a Leica M6, because “it attracts too many strangers wanting to chat about camera’s and lenses and it’s a distraction”.
…To keep away this unwanted attention, he tapes off the Leica logo with a piece of black gaffer, enabling him to concentrate on what he does best, capturing Amsterdam’s residents off-guard in stark but elegant Black and White.
It’s our utmost pleasure to introduce an new member to the ED crew, Amsterdam’s very own Boris Postma. Using his Olympus Mju II to document his mostly nocturnal exploits in our beautiful city, and likes to stay away from it’s often harsh reality, focusing on the beautiful, funny and romantic.
O, and he likes girls a lot too, young and pretty ones. And who doesn’t like to see those documented on gorgeous 35mm film?
In line with our recent exhibition and launch of the Ed Amsterdam website we published a limited edition booklet featuring photographs from: Dennis Duijnhouwer, Bram Spaan, Robbie Baauw, Matthijs Diederiks and Ryan Cookson.
46 pages (120gr) with softcover (200gr), 21cm x 14.6cm, color, numbered editions of 100, sealed in a plastic sleeve.
